CEO - Lance Loose - Lance Loose has 19 years experience in international sales and marketing with a prominent industry leader, Tolko Industries Inc., based in Vernon, BC. His experience ranges from production to market research and sales. He has been responsible for the introduction of new products into existing markets and the introduction of existing products into new markets, including China. Mr. Loose will initially be working with AvVaa on a part‐time basis.

COO - Roland Busch - Roland (“RJ”) Busch has diversified experience in the hospitality and management industry where he managed several supply warehouses, restaurants and hotels. Mr. Busch’s background includes strategic management, customer service, sales, marketing and fiscal responsibilities. His successful team leadership abilities derive from his 21 years service in the Canadian Military, his emphasis on strong attention to detail, and his strategic planning and execution. Mr. Busch believes in a strong commitment to professional customer service and operations. He will be joining AvVaa on a full‐time basis.

CFO/Director - Ruth Brennan - Mrs. Ruth Brennan was born in Switzerland, immigrated to Canada in 1970 and brings to the Company 35 years of experience gained in various positions in finance, manufacturing, graphic signage, health industries and housing projects. Mrs. Brennan has been involved with the Company as the Controller since 2003 and was acting CFO from 2007-2009.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Brennan studied and held a number of positions in sales, marketing, accounting and general management.  Ruth’s academic achievements include an Accounting Diploma from Mount Royal College; a Management Diploma from FBDB in Calgary, Alberta; a Sales & Marketing Diploma from Alno GMBH in Phullendorf, Germany; and a Graphic Arts apprentice in Bern Switzerland.

Mrs. Brennan’s “take action” approach to business has seen her start several businesses by herself, or with her husband John, which were successful and sold for profit, including Worldwide Wood Products Sales Inc., Breline Cabinet Inc., Atelier Sign Design Ltd. and her latest startup company, RC Executive Business Service Inc.

Her natural talent for networking and her strong ability to establish & build long-term relationships will enhance the success of avVaa and avVaa has now provided her with the opportunity to follow her passion for business and put that talent to work.

Director - Paul C. Ryan - Paul C. Ryan has over 40 years of North American experience in marketing consultation, market research and related fields. Highlights of his career include sales & marketing strategies for North American media, radio, television & cable industries, and their clients. He started his career with 2 Canadian advertising agencies and advanced to VP Research of the Television Bureau for 7 years. For the past 31 years he has run Sunray Media Inc., for qualitative and quantitative research studies; and SR Consulting, a business and marketing consulting service. Mr. Ryan is past President of the Broadcast Research Council, past member of the CCAB Sub Committee on advertising research standards, and a member of the Professional Market research Society.

Director - Dr. Mark E. Alden - Dr. Mark E. Alden is the Medical Director of the USLV Radiation and Imaging Center, Allentown PA. He is a Pennsylvania native who graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Over the course of his career, Dr. Alden has been in private practice, serving as Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at the TriCounty Cancer Center in Pennsylvania, and as Chairman of Radiation Oncology in Wilkes Barre, PA. In 2000, Dr. Alden returned to academic medicine where he held faculty positions at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University Hospital, and Drexel University. At Drexel, Dr. Alden served as Clinical Associate Professor, Interim Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Alden is a board certified radiation oncologist and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. Throughout his career he has been active in research and has published studies on radiation oncology for such journals as Radiology and the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology and Physics.

Dr. Alden stated “I know that I can contribute to the vision of the company.  I was involved in AVVAA’s product research and development for more than a decade and know the existing research well and believe I will contribute as a valuable resource in that area.”
