Jack is distinguished as a 32-year veteran of Petro-Canada Marketing, a major international petroleum corporation. He brings extensive experience in planning, distribution, marketing, retailing, merchandising and contract negotiations. Jack retired from Petro-Canada in 1994. Jack spent two years as a sales and marketing consultant to Conoco Oil in the USA in 1995 and 1996. Jack has worked on the avVaa project for nine years and has developed a close relationship with Gerd Thone, the inventor, and Dr. Mark Alden. When time permits, Jack enjoys working with his champion Labrador Retrievers as well as fishing and the outdoors at his rustic Babine Lake cabin in beautiful central British Columbia. |

Lorie contributes over 25 years of management, sales, and marketing experience. Previously, Lorie was supervisor of 13 retail outlets for a major fashion store. In addition, Lorie has owned and operated a consulting business in the trade show booth industry which included concepts and designs to corporation's across Canada. Lorie heads avVaa's new business development, design, and packaging for the company's extensive animal care product line. In the past, Lorie was an accomplished equestrian rider who now owns a beautiful gelding registered paint horse: "BC Absolutlee Macho (Arnold)". Arnold is an APHA Halter Honour Roll Gelding, APHA Champion in both Amateur & Open, APHA Superiors in Hunter under Saddle & Halter and many High Point awards. Lorie and her horse enjoy life while competing in the APHA shows in British Columbia and Alberta. In her spare time, Lorie is also a dedicated breeder of CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) Registered Labrador Retrievers with accomplishments in show, field and obedience championships. Lorie uniquely combines her business background with animal care expertise. |

Ruth was born and raised in Switzerland where she completed a graphic arts apprenticeship. She immigrated to Canada and worked with several graphic artists before establishing her own graphic arts business. Working with her husband John, Ruth moved into the fields of Home Design and Sales. She has completed several different sales and marketing courses as well as business management courses during her career. With her steady mind and calm overview, it was a natural progression for Ruth to take on the challenge of General Manager and Controller with a manufacturing company. Changing priorities led her to establish her own accounting and consulting business several years ago. She has now joined avVaa, one of her clients, on a full time basis. When not crunching numbers, Ruth enjoys the outdoors with her husband John and chasing chickens at their hobby farm in Lumby. |

Dr. Moore brings a broad base of scientific and business expertise that avVaa will be able to capitalize upon immediately. He will direct new product introductions to compliment the existing avVaa products and the regulatory affairs from a manufacturing perspective as well as insuring the avVaa product offerings are regulatory compliant with either the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or US Environmental Protection.
Prior to joining avVaa World Health Care Products Inc., as Chief Science and Regulatory and Advisor to the Board, Dr. Moore’s Federal Service career spanned 25 years between the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agriculture Research Services (ARS) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) created by President Nixon in 1970. Dr. Moore is a Charter Member of the EPA . Dr. Moore earned one gold medal, three silver medals, and 10 bronze medals during his distinguished career at the EPA and received the coveted “Thousand Points of Light Award” from President George Bush at the White House in 1984. Dr. Moore is a Charter Member of the Wildlife Society and the American Forestry Association |

Dr. Carol Osborne has gained national recognition as an authority in veterinary medicine and health care for pets. She is our nation’s first veterinarian to be Certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. The founder and president of the American Pet Institute, the Pet Anti-Aging Wellness Centers and PAAWS, Pet Anti-Aging Wellness Systems, Dr. Carol has pioneered the exploration of new therapies for the treatment and prevention of age-related degenerative disease, as well as promotion of optimum health and performance for pets. VitaLife is Dr. Carol’s newest, most advanced, patented pet product line.
Dr. Carol has been featured in USA Today, USA Weekend, The Los Angeles Times and the New York Daily News. She has contributed columns to “Trends”, the highly respected journal of the American Animal Hospital Association, DVM Magazine, Dog World, Cat Fancy, Puppies USA, Groomer to Groomer, Icelandic Horse and Travel, and Equine Athlete. Her editorial contributions also include In Style Magazine, Womans World and Icon Magazine, as well as Fit Magazine and The National Enquirer.
Dr. Carol’s first two books “Naturally Healthy Cats” and “Naturally Healthy Dogs” hit the international best seller lists; translated into 11 different languages and selling over 150,000 copies. They are in their fourth publication by Marshall Editions. Carol also wrote the chapter, Pets our Pets Don’t Need” in the book,”Infection Protection” published November, 2002 by Harper Collins.
The multi-faceted Dr. Osborne is also an Emmy-nominated television journalist. “Dr. Carol” as she has come to be known, has gained national prominence through her frequent appearances on popular shows including Leeza and Extra. She was the resident pet expert on Today in New York. Dr. Carol is very familiar to audiences across the country through her numerous appearances on metropolitan news programs, in particular, the highly rated, nationally syndicated Fox morning news show, Good Day L.A. Many viewers enjoyed Dr. Carol’s weekly role as the pet product consumer reporter and staff veterinarian on the Fox News Channel’s Pet News and the Family Channel’s Home & Family where she was a recurring Featured guest for several years. Her numerous appearances on Discovery’s Animal Planet, including Pet Line, Amazing Tails and Disney’s Petsburg USA have made her a welcome face to audiences around the world. Dr. Carol was credited as a consultant on ABC’s Genesis Award Winner Incredible Animal Tales.
Dr. Carol is an accomplished equestrian and competed successfully on the “A” horse show circuit as an amateur and professionally. She qualified for the US Equestrian Olympic Team Trials. She is an avid horse lover and a respected member of the American Horse Show Association.
Dr. Carol earned her B.S. degree from John Carroll University; she graduated summa cum laude. She received her D.V.M. degree with honors from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been in private clinical practice for over 15 years. Currently, she devotes much of her time to the research and development of advanced biosciences for the benefit of animal health and welfare. |
