Twelve Year Old with Eczema...
My granddaughter has eczema and scratches herself until she bleeds. We started her on this product [NEUROSKIN] when she came to visit us and it seemed to help. A Magic Wand...
About 5 years ago I developed a very itchy rash on the inside of my arms from wrist to elbow. It would spread and flare up with intolerable itching. As time progressed I could no longer wear short sleeves. I developed considerable scarring and discoloration. Nothing I used gave me any lasting relief. Over time I went to 4 skin specialists all of whom concurred that I had stress induced eczema and all of whom prescribed lotions and pills which still gave me no relief. The last skin specialist said to me "you are looking for magic and I do not have a magic wand". Indeed I was looking for magic as by now I was truly a mess. Both my arms were covered with scabs and were often bleeding. My left leg was covered from my ankle to my knee and I had deep open wounds. I felt like a leper. A Blessing ...
I started using NEUROSKIN during the summer of 2002 for my hands and feet. It took a good 12-15 weeks for my skin to return to normal but the time was worth it!! It was amazing! I have had eczema since my second child was born 11 years ago. My physician tried everything. I saw 5 dermatologists about the problem. From a Young Mother...
As a young teenager, I struggled with skin problems, but who would have thought that as a 30 year old mother of two, I would still be faced with acne? I have always been very attentive to my skin, using top of the line products, washing, cleansing and moisturizing faithfully everyday. However, whether I blame it on hormones, the environment or genetics, I am still prone to "break outs". Really Wonderful...
Since childhood I have had eczema. Over the years I have tried many treatments. Cortisone cream was the best but gradually lost its effectiveness. Several weeks ago I bought a bottle of NEUROSKIN FORTE spray. Within a few days my eczema had virtually disappeared. I can keep it under control by using the spray for three to five days on any spots that start to reappear. After so many years of discomfort, this is really wonderful.

Scratch until you bleed...
Since my birth I have suffered from Neurodermatitis on my arms legs and back. Worst of all is the unbearable itching, which nobody that doesn't suffer from this disease can understand or imagine. You scratch until you bleed. I couldn't sleep for days on end. Consequently due to lack of sleep my nerves were completely worn out. I tried different ointments, consulted a practitioner, but without any success. Then I applied NEUROSKIN, and the itching completely stopped and my skin became soft and supple. Although the disease has not been completely eliminated, now I live a normal life. When my skin starts to itch in stressful situations, I just spray the product on it and that itching subsides immediately.

Experience of a Mechanic at General Motors Dealership, Vancouver BC Canada...
One of the first product tests was with a 35-year old mechanic with Psoriasis. The mechanic had just returned from a cruise with his wife and during the cruise he was asked to use the pool at night. It was felt that the condition of his skin would cause concern among other passengers. We gave him one 50-ml bottle of NEUROSKIN. Three weeks later we received a call from the mechanic requesting a purchase of 2 more 50 ml bottles. I personally delivered this and the met with the mechanic. He came out of the shop with his sleeves rolled up and appeared like any normal person with healthy skin. He shook my hand and he had tears in his eyes. He said that this was the first time he could roll up his sleeves in years. I asked him how bad he was and he said that he had tried everything including a six-month period where he ate only chestnuts, which gave him some relief from the Psoriasis but also made him very sick. He said that his final recourse was to use very toxic medicines that would require a kidney and liver medical analysis each year. He could not express his appreciation for what we had done for him. He said we even saved his marriage, as he and his wife had to sleep in separate beds due to his skin condition. His bed sheets had to be changed each day because of pus from cracks in his skin getting on the sheets. He broke down for a few seconds, gathered himself, and shook my hand with one of the firmest handshakes I have ever had and went back to his work. He was not the only one who had tears in his eyes when we parted.

A Physician's gratitude...
Excerpts from a letter from Dr. Aidan T. Dunn, M.B. B.CH. B.A.O.M.I.C.G.P, Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners, Member of the London College of Osteopathic Medicine: " I would like to take this opportunity to express my personal and professional opinion on your NEUROSKIN products; the efficiency of which I can only describe as quite remarkable. I had the chance to assess the results of using NEUROSKIN on several dermatology patients in Germany. Two of these were small children who lives (and indeed the lives of their parents) were completely disrupted by their severe eczema. They had been, prior to the introduction of NEUROSKIN, beyond the help ofeven of topical steroids. All that remains of this eczema after using NEUROSKIN, was a little dryness of the skin on each elbow in one case, and the smallest suggestion of dry skin on the forearms of the other. In my own practice here in Ireland I am seeing similar results. Today I reviewed a 49-year old woman, who had had dermatitis on her neck and face for several months. Her own doctor prescribed a potent topical steroid, which was the only relief she could get, prior to my seeing her. I first saw her on March 12, 1997 and told her to stop the steroid and start using NEUROSKIN 2 or 3 times per day. December 1997 NEUROSKIN spray is an all natural product containing minerals and oils in a non-greasy, fast drying spray which cools and sooths irritated skin, reduces inflammation, itching and scratching, and promotes healing and repair of damaged skin enhancing natural elasticity and texture. It contains no steroids, chemicals, or preservatives. It claims effectiveness for psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis.

The company has asked me to give my professional opinion of this product and to provide them with the background details. In consideration of this task, I have studied a number of documents regarding the safety and efficiency of Neuro-skin as follows.
 
A. Toxicity report prepared by Prof. Dr. Med., Hans F. Merk, August 4, 1996. He reports on:

1. Kinetics, metabolism skin penetration
2. Carcinogenicity / earcinogenicity
3. Reproductive impact, of each of the ingredients of Neuroskin
   On all three accounts he felt that there was no unusual risk or cause for restricted usage.
   

B. Toxicity report prepared by: Heidrun Schafer, PhD., April 27th 1997. He evaluated:

1. Acne toxicity
2. Clinical toxicity
3. Irritation
4. Sensitization
   He classified the product as safe. He reported no allergic reactions, noting only that allergic reactions may theoretically occur in those who may be predisposed to them.

C. Adverse reaction study performed by Prof. Dr. Med., Hans F. Merk, June 30th, 1997 to July 4th, 1997.

Among 40 volunteers on whom the product was tested, in a clinically controlled fashion, there were no adverse reactions. The report states that the reasons were "the same as with Vaseline".

D. Safety report prepared by Norbert Klocker, MD. Ph.D., FMPM, July 17th, 1997. He evaluated:

1. Microbial safety
2. Toxicity
3. Clinical experiences in 40 volunteers
   

On all three accounts, he has classified NEUROSKIN as safe. In an addendum, he reports 50 side effects (considered allergic in nature, and not severe) to have occurred in one million units of the product distributed. I estimate this to be an 0.0001 incidence of allergic reactions.

I am aware, that in North America, salicylic acid has been added to (Neuroskin Psoriasis Relief) in a very small amount. The safety of salicylic acid in similar dermatological products has been well established. The company informed me that salicylic acid was added so that the product could be regsitered as an Over The Counter (OTC) product, under the USA FDA guidelines.

Regarding the efficiency of NEUROSKIN, I have reviewed the report by the inventor who surveyed 1000 psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis sufferers who were given a sample of the product. He reports that 995 of them had an improvement in their symptoms. A separate report on the first 100 randomly selected surveys from the original group of 1000 has been analyzed in detail. In this analysis, we find that patients were to report the frequency of itching, intensity of itching, and the severity of their skin wounds on a clinical subjective scale. They reported their results prior to applying NEUROSKIN, and at 1,2, and 4 weeks of application. Converting the scores to a decimal scale, were 1.0 is "the worst imaginable," and 0.0 is "no symptom", the initial sources for frequency of itching, intensity of scratching, and wound severity were 0.67, 0.64 and 0.81 respectively. After four weeks of NEUROSKIN, the scores dropped to 0.27, and 0.33, revealing a dramatic reduction in symptoms over 60% in just four weeks.

I have also reviewed testimonials and reports of testimonials from well over a dozen different individuals who have suffered from psoriasis and eczema, and had reported and "amazing relief," and "a complete cure", like they have never had before with any other product. I have also reviewed a videotaped forewarned of such cases, and can attest to the dramatic improvement with NEUROSKIN. I do note that while relief of symptoms can begin with the very first application, clearance of the skin from psoriatic eczematous lesions can take 60 to 120 days or more.

Finally, I have reviewed the endorsement of the national German association of dermatitis patients, Bundesverband Neurodermitiskranker in Deutschlande V., and their intent to recommend NEUROSKIN to all those who inquire.

Having reviewed all the above information, it is my opinion that NEUROSKIN is as safe as other skin care products currently sold over-the-counter, and that it is also quite effective when used as directed. Dr. Mark Alden MD, 1997.
